One of the things I hate most in the blogging world is blogs that pull you in, then slow down, and eventually the only posts you see are the posts about not posting.
And it makes me sick to see myself follow this trend.
Be that as it may, I've decided to come back to this, my 'other blog' where I can write whatever I want no matter how dirty or unbecoming the subject matter. There are things I simply cannot say out loud in my everyday, public life that I feel I can share here.
Now I understand I've not only let a few months go by since my last post, but an actual season go by since then. It's actually not that I've been away completely, in fact, I started several stories over the summer, just nothing that I actually followed through on.
I have to think this is for a reason.
One, the obvious, and perhaps the most simple: I am Canadian, and summers are precious to me. Now that Autumn has begun, and with Winter (blah) looming, I will be spending more time indoors, which means more time to write.
The other thing that I feel is behind my writer's block is that I started this blog without really following my own vision . I started with a sex story, followed by another, and so on. I love that stuff, I really do- but I need to get out the other stuff (like the description says- thoughts, sex, love, politics...) as well. I think after a few posts of pure smut, I felt that I would be betraying my readers, the small number of you, if I deviated from that trend.
So, (sigh) after taking a bit of a break, I have returned. A new season, a new look, a new outlook.
Once again, I ask you to please bare with me- I'm still rather new at this.
